How to prepare your perfect cup of tea for breakfast

This is advice based on the British Tea Guild Homepage: Wherever you are, take care to prepare your tea based on these few recommendations - it really makes all the difference:

  • Only use best quality open tea or tea bags.
  • Boil fresh water.
  • Warm your favorite teapot and teacup.
  • Allow a rounded teaspoon of loose tea for each cup.
  • Pour freshly boilt water over the tea, stir once and twice while it is brewing.
  • Allow the tea to brew for the recommended number of minutes - NOT longer.
  • Pour, add sugar, lemon and milk or cream if you wish, and enjoy.
